This has been an amazing week in the Londolozi Cubs Den, we did so many wonderful things, although the coolest thing for me was the first ever children’s only picnic we had. I thought I’d share some of the fun we had in pictures!
Just as we got to the spot, sorting out silly bands and getting all settled in
The AMAZING food the kitchen made for us, we had cheese sandwiches, fruit skewers, jars of jelly tots and popcorn and so much more!The perfect picnic look, boys playing soccer, girls relaxing...

Another tree was found and Marina proved that she could climb the highest!
A tree or activity was found for everyone!
Milo showed much enthusiasm in trying to catch butterflies!
And finally we ended off with a competition to see who could catch the most jelly tots in their mouths, Rory the birthday girl definitely out did everyone!
It was a FANTASTIC day, we hope to have many more! A big thank-you to Milo, Luca, Rory and Marina for being wonderful children, to Daniel for taking us out and finding the amazing picnic spot and to the kitchen for the great food!

Thanks for posting these, Cinzia! We are home now and reflecting on our amazing trip. The girls loved their time at Londolozi and with you. But I take exception to the comment that the “girls were relaxing” while the boys played soccer – there was a lot of tree-climbing and jelly-tot eating going on by my girls!
And i believe there was singing of “We’re off to meet to wizard!”, it was a wonderful having you all and we hope to see you again soon!
