Yesterday Thomas, Emma and I had so much fun making our own playdough, I just had to share it with you! It is super easy to make, and the whole family can join in!

What you will need:

1 x cup of water

1 x cup of salt

2 x cups of flour

Food colouring

A mixing bowl

An adult to help you

Hands that are willing to get dirty!

LETS BEGIN!

To start, get all your ingredients (and people) together

Once it starts sticking together, drop it onto the table and carry on

Roll your dough into small balls for colour, we could make 5 colours so we rolled 5 balls. Make a little hole in the top so you can add some food colouring

Then it's mixing all over again to get the colour into the dough

If it's looking a little light, it is ok to add more colour in

And lastly, ENJOY!

And lastly, ENJOY!

You can keep your dough to use again my wrapping it in some cling wrap and putting it in the fridge. Also if you don’t have lots of different colours of food colouring, remember that you can mix, for this we only had pink, blue and yellow, so we mixed yellow and blue to make green and blue and pink to make purple.

I hope you all have as much fun making and playing with your playdough as we did!

Teacher Cinzia has demonstrated how to prepare and present a perfect activity. The concentration and enjoyment shown on the faces of Emma and Thomas made me wish I was part of the fun. Thank you for the recipe…………… Sally
