This Easter weekend has been a flurry of activity from Friday to Sunday in the whole of Londolozi, but especially in the Cubs Den! So I thought I’d show you guys what’s been going on!
On Friday, we had a mud fight…
As you can see everyone had a fun time, it was decided at the end that Sean won the prize for the dirtiest person (I think the boys ganged up on him)
Then on Saturday we went tree climbing and made some bows and arrows…
How many children can you fit on a Sausage Tree, well the answer on this day was 10 plus me… but I think we could definitely fit in a few more!
Alfie and Lucky helped everyone make bows and arrows…
Then came Easter Sunday… We started with an Easter egg hunt at the bush breakfast that happened so fast I couldn’t even take a photo of it! I had set up a route with clues and eggs and tracks, and these kids were all so clever that they out foxed me on all my clues and found all the eggs (and the elephants at the end) in 5 minutes flat!!
Then after the bush breakfast 2 of the Londolozi Cubs, Oliver and Luca along with our own Maya Groch helped me set up a wonderful Easter egg hunt in the traditional Shangaan Village for the children of the Londolozi crèche…
As you can see everyone had a great weekend! What did you guys get up to over your Easter weekend? We would love to hear about it, write your adventures down in the comments section below.
