Londolozi Learning Centre (powered by GWF)
Londolozi has established a myriad of initiatives to bring about positive transformation in our staff and impoverished communities outside the reserve. Londolozi’s staff support an average of eight people each in the rural communities bordering the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The incredible untapped skills in this vibrant and diverse group, are not only essential to the success of Londolozi but for that of the country itself.
These efforts are centred around a sophisticated learning centre, Londolozi Learning, which runs a programme of continuous learning aimed at nurturing and developing inherent talents and leadership qualities. In order to facilitate this process of leadership building, Londolozi has engaged Mo Groch. Mo has three decades of teaching experience and her wisdom has helped to develop Londolozi’s model for learning. Her mission is to facilitate the growth of all staff members to become the best possible versions of themselves.
We have many enthusiastic and committed learners engaged in the following: languages and adult literacy, accounting and computer skills, distance learning qualifications, early childhood enrichment and indigenous gardening.
People who history denied the opportunity to realise their full potential are now blossoming through the facilitation of a highly trained education professional within a dynamic learning environment.
The results are remarkable. Within our community we are witnessing a quiet revolution, as individuals discover their true potential and begin to take charge of their destiny. This personal focus on every staff member has also enhanced the guest experience. Quite simply, it has made our family a happy one and their genuine courtesy and care delights everyone who visits Londolozi.
Londolozi’s Vision 2020 s a multidimensional philosophy, which realises that Londolozi is not a game lodge but rather a platform for advocacy of the restoration movement and the new consciousness. It is a place that should inspire a profound desire in all to live in deeper connection with each other and the natural world.
It is a model for the potential of village living, both in harmony with each other and the natural world.
It is the realisation that new systems for living can be created, systems that at their core create a sense of wellbeing and belonging in all the sentient beings that reside at Londolozi.
We believe that we can become a futuristic African village that combines cutting edge sustainable technology with the natural world and the magic that comes from village life.
