Your days at Londolozi will be filled with fascinating wildlife and wilderness encounters: serene sunrise game drives, bush walks and afternoon safaris that stretch into the evening. Activities are conveniently punctuated with simply sophisticated meals and recuperation time by the pool, in your room or at Londolozi’s Healing House.
Day 8-10Victoria Falls, Matetsi
Friendly smiles and a warm welcome await your arrival in Victoria Falls. This 2 night tour is a popular add-on and the perfect way to experience the majestic Victoria Falls. In addition to being soaked by one of the seven natural wonders of the world, there’s plenty to see and do in the area including adrenaline-filled days, languid dinners, exciting safaris and scenic flights. Where the earth thunders and ancient waters plunge into eternity, you'll discover your sanctuary along the Zambezi's banks. Morning mist carries the roar of Mosi-oa-Tunya – "The Smoke that Thunders" – while elephants wade through your riverside reverie. Drift silently on sunset cruises as hippos call from hidden channels. Feel the earth vibrate beneath your feet during walking safaris where every footstep connects you to something primal. Two nights to let the Falls get under your skin. To understand why the locals call it Mosi-oa-Tunya – and why you'll never forget that sound.

FAQ
Dec – March (if the Cape is your priority)
But of course – the best of all worlds (weather-wise) for the 3 diverse destinations would be April/May as you are within the cusp of our seasons (ie: our Autumn/Fall) and as such moderacy throughout in terms of weather and experiences on the ground.
Many would argue though, that since our seasons are not as extreme as those in the Northern Hemisphere, we are essentially a year-round destination and the action never stops, regardless of when you may be keen to travel.
This is a tricky question to answer as the exact answer would be totally dependent on your nationality as per your passport that you will be travelling with.
The golden rule, best advice and one that would suit travel anywhere in the world, would be to contact the embassy of the country you are looking to travel to, for their most up to date requirements and stipulations for entry. This should be done with enough lead time, prior to said trip, so as to ensure one can get their “ducks in a row” without any urgency or surprises.
South Africa (Cape Town and Kruger), Zambia and Zimbabwe (Vic Falls) are the countries you will be entering and exiting on this trip.
Most passport holders are able to enter South Africa for a holiday like this without a visa.
The Falls is a destination that does require visas for most nations, but offers both visas on arrival or in advance via e-visa websites.
Standard requirements for travel within Africa is to please ensure that your passports are valid for at least 6 months after you travel dates & you will need at least 2 blank VISA pages in consecutive order, namely one blank on the left and one blank on the right when open like a book for each country you are visiting.
You will need ZAR (South African Rands) here in South Africa and USD (American Dollars) in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
There are bureau de changes at the Cape Town Airport, as well as throughout the city if you need to change some of your home currency into ZAR here at the start of the trip.
Of course you can also just use your credit card at any number of ATMs in the airport, or in the city to draw cash directly as ZAR.
One should remember prior to your leaving home, to alert your card issuing bank that you are traveling abroad, mention the countries you are travelling to, and ensure you know your card’s pin number to be able to use it with no problem here.
To note though, one can also use one’s credit card for any extras at the Cape Town hotels and restaurants, Londolozi and the Falls property that would cover extras like curios, gratuities, spa treatments, etc. At the Falls you would need at least some USD in cash small denominations, new notes for visas (if planning on purchasing on arival) and curios/informal purchases from market and street vendors as ATMs are not reliable here.
We will get in touch with you to confirm everything. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
